Difference Between For and To

In my View the difference between For and To  is:

To is almost use before verb Just like

I need to leave for school.

For is used before Noun like
I am leaving for school.

I hope you have understood. I am not native speaker, a new learner. So If you have better suggestions, you can post it in the comment.

Thanks.

Please let me know if you're looking for a writer for your blog. You have some really great posts and I think I would be a good asset. If you ever want to take some of the load off, I'd absolutely love to write some
content for your blog in exchange for a link back to mine.
Please send me an email if interested. Kudos!
